Lol keep the 60. Re-order everything in 5x117.3

Was there even enough room to drill the wheels out to 5x4.75 without interfering with the center caps?

Rodney the axles are already 4 1/2 bolt circle. It's staying now.

Didn't know if you were going that way or not. Those brakes don't look like they're street friendly, but it's hard to tell from a picture.

Ya they would get me killed on the street. The order has been modified for this application, but now has to be changed to 4 1/2 bolt circle.

Going to still use EBC pads.

It's REALLY close to get the center caps back on at 4.75. Maybe would have had to index the caps and wheels. 4.5 works. Blessing in disguise??

And long studs are another issue.

Building a street car to NHRA specs to run 120 mph is "interesting". LOL.

This is NOT going to be as easy as I imagined, but I'm old and only doing this once.

This whole thing is ON HOLD, at least for now, for several reasons.

Not the least of which is the cost is now projected at almost $40K and I am surprisingly (at least to me) getting feedback from some folks who's opinion I very much respect encouraging me not to cut this car.

More to come at some point I expect.

i dont know why you would? its a quad 4 beretta gtz, one of a few, a very few that are still nice and rust free and cared about, i would just start with something different, a z26 or a gt would be fine, the kits are a dime a dozen and so are the wheels.

1991 beretta GTZ- 2.3l w41 cams, ported 086 head with a 3 angle valve job, fidanza flywheel with exedy racing clutch, 3.94fdr from and scx, so much more..

I don't know you so I won't say anything about you personally but you say that you want to do this swap and haven't provided any photos or any purchases you made yet leads me to believe your just making a fake thread about something that everyone would jump on the bandwagon about you finishing... That may or may not be the case but that's my opinion on this from day one. If it were a bull thread I would have dragged it on the april 1st lol. But if its not all the power to you on the "ON Hold" swap.

I also had a feeling also from the beginning this wasn't going to happen, all these modifications get away from the actual enjoyment of just driving an old car. Plus destroying a rare example of one

Have you considered just buying a beretta drag car, would probably be less than $40k

I have heard stories, mine isn't a personal attack or anything it's just mostly all these projects never complete. Especially upset when ruining a nice oem car

I don't think anyone hates Eric, the project or his car. I really wanted to see it complete just like I would like to see any rwd setup complete
