What to combine with my new springs
Ive searched and it doesnt helped that i lack suspension know how.
I recently acquired a new set of Eibach lowering springs. They are just sitting in my garage taking up space.
Time to install them! But what should i purchase first prior to install? New spring mounts? What struts/shocks should i go with?
Ive always heard not to install lowering springs with stock struts, but do i have a choice. Not really looking to modify jbody units.

Re: What to combine with my new springs
When I lowered my GTZ with Canuck springs, I use new everything. Strut mounts, struts, shocks, spring seats, bellows. I used Monroe sensitrack struts, and they are fine, even after over 60k on the car. And Canucks are lower than Eibachs

IMO Kyb gr2 are the stiffest/best handling aside from the koni insert mod..

Re: What to combine with my new springs
Rock Auto does have good prices on GR2's/Excel-G. Just bought some for my Cavy that has Eibachs. Had a set go bad because the a$$ at the shop put locking pliers on the shafts to intall them. The ride was nice when they were working.
keep'em flying!
