Beretta Z28
Re: Beretta Z28
i talked to DSS, DennysDS, a place called ring and pinion and last a place by me called Dynotech.......no one came in under 400 $$ so to save on shipping i went with Dynotech.....I have a few buddies i work with who highly recommend them. and they were the cheapest seeing as i can save 50 $$ by not shipping. im having a pretty beefy shaft made (thats why there so expensive) to well exceed my current power levels to leave room to upgrade the motor as i can later.
Re: Beretta Z28
@ bonecrusher those storage bins might come in handy now seeing as i dont have a trunk hahhahaa

Re: Beretta Z28
Jjanke, you can still make the trunk somewhat functional. As long as the fuel cell you are using doesnt require the trunks entire real estate. I mean, unless your welding the trunk shut, should still be able to use part of it.

Well u know what they say.....Go big !!!!! Or Go ....get u a big ass drive shaft !!!!! 3.5 inch DOM from dynotech ......should hold everything I can put through it and more
Re: Beretta Z28
My 68's drive-shaft is 47 inches long center to center.
I have a 1310 u joint on one end and a 1350 u joint on the other end.
So mine would not have worked, it's too long.
Keep up the good work on your project.

Re: Beretta Z28
wow thats really good progress! looks great!!
Im with you on the widebody, I think its the correct way to do it with the suspension you have. if you tuck the wheels in it changes the scrub radius and ackerman angle more depending on how it would have to be done. the smithperformance would be good, if you only wanted to go straight.....

Re: Beretta Z28
There are restrictions on the gauge of steel/alum you use for the rear firewall too.
Quick google turned this up.
