GROUP BUY: Canuck Motorsports Springs '87-94

Post by lmnjlo »

If you have not been following the group buy for the '95-96 Canuck lowering springs, we have had another awesome opportunity! Canuck, due to a lot of interest in the past few weeks, will be starting production on ALL BERETTA Springs. See below:
"This is from Canuck as of today!!!!

"Hi,
Thank you for your information.
The engineer had confirmed we will stock both years for the Chevy Beretta lowering kits.
The only thing is, production may be a few weeks away, as we are behind in production as it is.
We thank you in advanced for your patience in this matter.
Please forward all information for the parties willing to wait for production.
I will need emails to forward invoices. I will not send invoices until product is ready to ship."

SOO......If you want springs for any year Beretta, let me know so I can forward Canuck your information.

A set is $169.95 plus $30 shipping in the U.S. They do ship internationally but buyer will need to pay added shipping and duty charges. If you are interested LET ME KNOW. I am making a list and getting THIS order ready for Canuck. The 95-96 list has already been sent.

****UPDATE****

It looks as though they have already made these and already billing those that sent them private emails before I started this group list. SO....you can either wait for me to submit the list later next week, or you can tell me to hold off or cancel and order at your leisure. :)

Put me down as a maybe, it would be nice to have a set waiting incase another Beretta falls into my lap.

Has this been ran past the 2nd gen Jbody guys? I'm sure it would garner interest there too.

No I haven't informed them. What's the site and I'll post something.

Id love to get my hands on a set, however a 1.7/1.6 inch drop is over 4cm, a bit much for practical reasons. Its awesome for the looks but not so much for the front bumber. :(

Highly doubt it will drop a factory FE3 or FE7 car that much.

Updated.

I have reached out to the J body forum as well. Due to the holidays, I will be contacting Canuck next week to follow up on the '95-'96 order and discuss how far along we are with this order.

I will keep everyone updated.

How does the spring rate compare to Eibach? Are they progressive or linear? I would like a little more drop than I currently have and the Eibachs are advertised as 1".

They are a tad lower then the Eibachs, but not as low as Sprints. Is that a good measurement system? :)

When I talk to them next week I will try to get that clarified Mr. Woody. hehe

So you are saying, the values on their page refers to no option Berettas? Understandable - It seems like a bit much of a drop on an FE7 car indeed.

Ok. So...I heard from Canuck today. They have just about completed the 95-96 order and have already started on making a few sets of the 87-94, even though I havent given them a list yet...so...it looks like they may just go right into normal stock. I am waiting for more information about what they are doing with the 87-94.
