Hey if you got an extra minute, could you take a couple pics of the rust on the Impala?
I'd like to see where the trouble spots are in case I ever look to buy one.
Nice project. It'll be interesting to learn how you hook up OBD2 engine to OBD1.
The 3t40 auto trans is pretty simple to do yourself if you are just refreshing clutches and seals.
I did mine on my mini van and it came out great.
The TransGo shift kit I put in mine didn't do much to firm up shifts,
it's suppose to solve some problems that can occur but I don't notice much change.

Impalas are great cars, just be sure to look at the underside. They suffer from rust in the rockers and the rear end trailing arms. This car the passenger side rear wheel isn't really attached anymore. PM me your cell phone number or email I will send you some pics if you want them

Well a lot is going on starting stage 0 tuning! Make everything work! Gas tank is on with new fuel pump, Brake and fuel lines are being run. 3400 has been taken apart and looks great inside. new gaskets from the heads up! More updates soon!

motor was ripped apart and is already back together, didnt take long on the engine stand
