Something else to add to my mix/mash of parts... Those are 95-96 KYB strut housings that I made into Koni struts... I'm going to check tonight to see if the lower spring seat is in the same spot on the older 90 strut... That would change the orientation of the top coil when installed. Although it still doesnt explain how a 90 Eibach spring fit fine but differed from a 90 Canuck and Stocker... WEIRD... As you can see it's still bugging me but not enough to pull the struts out again.

Slow and steady progress on the Indy... The dash I acquired from Geoff and his GT that he parted out was in much better shape, but as almost all of these dashes are it was lifting from the reinforcement base around the defroster vent and such. There is only one small crack in it that has been previously repaired so that's where it is much better than what I had. I've spent the last few days gluing and bracing the dash to hold those lifted parts down... So far so good using "Amazing GOOP" takes a while to dry but holds pretty good in the end. I hope to be installing the dash at the end of this week and have the car back to a running state so I can drive it some and make sure nothing else is wrong with it. I also purchased some cool white LED dash lights. It will be interesting to see how these change the illumination properties of the Digi Dash.


From the Heater Core swap... Should have just waited till the dash was out... Oh well.

I too used Goop on my 88 dash.
I tired 3M headliner adhesive but it didn't hold.
I hope the Goop holds long term. I have no cracks,,,yet.
I hope using a sun shield in the windshield when parked helps.
My vinyl is soft but has shrunk.
I used Goop on my console lid and door arm rests and so far it's holding.

It's getting some love again, this time in the brake department... New 92+ front disc setup and the Neon rear disc, as well as swapping in a new brake booster and a 2000 Monte Carlo non ABS master cylinder.

While I'm in there I'll also be installing the Del-A-Lum bushings I got for the front control arms and possibly installing the poly rear swing arm bushings I got from Tyler... I just want to make up a center spacer for them since they don't fill the whole bore.

Cleared out the garage between the two cars and I actually have enough room to go all the way around the Indy... And there is still a ton of junk that I probably need to purge come spring time in front of the car.

Installed the Billet upper trans mount while it was apart... I also don't know how long this style mounting system will stay in this car.... I'm not sure if the turbo setup will clear this... as well as the 4-speed transmission doesn't have the same mounting bosses as this trans so I may end up shifting to the newer style trans mount on the side that bolts up to the lower part of the frame rail.

And here is one of the big problems I found when doing the bushings... No clue what application this arm is for, but the right side arm did not match the left side when it comes to bushing size, and is incorrect when it comes to the correct bushings for a Beretta... They have always been a small front bushing with a large rear... NOT the same size front to rear. Shane is going to send me his 92 GT arms since he already has a set with Del-A-Lum's installed and wont need his original ones.

Sweet!! That's such a nice car, I'm glad you have it and give it the care it deserves. You guys that have been around for years are lucky you mothballed a bunch of parts and go-fast goodies like the bushings and trans mount.
That 2 different control arm situation is bizarre..

I'm drawing up the bushings so that they could be re-produced by just about anyone who has access to a machine shop. The upper mount is also VERY easy to re-produce... Not much to it honestly.

Had a snow day so I did a bunch of work today... got the fittings all flared on the lines up front, as well as started taking apart the rear brakes and start fitting the disc parts. Looking at pulling the exhaust down and making something up to replace that and build it to be usable even after I build the next engine, so that means 2.5" mandrel bent stainless :) I will probably just do J bends and U bends to make up the pipe since it would cost way too much to get Dustin to make a set for a plastic gas tank setup.

Dropped this stuff off at the powder coater on Friday of last week... I hope to have it back by the 9th maybe.... Black for all the suspension and silver on the calipers... Nothing fancy.

Del-a-lums...blah. I have my old set in a box of anybody wants them. Haha

My knuckles look like garbage after I just blasted and painted all the other stuff. I think they actually came off your pink car when you went with bigger brakes.

Yes you have my old 96 knuckles. And I actually purchased standard Poly bushings for this car... I think the del-a-lums will be too aggressive for what I'm doing with it.

Daily drive my car with the del a lum didn't recall it being all that harsh but I guess will see again when making their way in to the GT with delrin rear axle bushings too
