2021 Calendar Voting Is Here!
2021 Calendar Voting Is Here!
It's an election year and you know what that means... It's time to vote for the photos to be included in the 2021 Beretta.net Calendar!
Here are the 29 entrants for the 2021 Beretta.Net calendar! It's a bit more than we had last year which is great! But I'll be honest in saying that while the number of submissions has increased, the quality of some of these submissions has gone down. I won't point any fingers but have a look at them as you vote... Some will stand out as excellent yet some will just, stand out. Speaking of pointing fingers one of the submissions had a finger in the photo! One of them was a file size from 1998 and there were multiple less than desirable aspects to numerous other entries. I've taken every photo submitted to me and edited them as I always do in hopes that the quality in submissions will in fact stand out and perhaps next year we won't have any sub-par submissions. In fact, I'll be tightening the reigns on the submission regulations next year and we will not have any sub-par submissions. Send me one and it'll get sent back with the reasons it has been rejected clearly stated in hopes of having a more proper submission then resent. though remember, we'll never reject an entry because of the car itself. Only because of photo quality issues. Part of this is on me too; I'll be reminding the group much earlier next year to get out and take some photos. But it's not all on me, you all know we do this every year so get out and shoot!
So... 29 entries. That means we have to cut this field down by 17 entrants to determine our winners. As always it's gonna be a tough one as well, it's always hard picking your favorite Beretta, let alone multiple Berettas. Voting starts now and will end on Sunday, November 8th at Midnight MST. I will get in contact with with the winners shortly after to clarify all details, if necessary. Winners will be granted their choice of month, in order of most votes received. REMEMBER, I have only listed the information you provided me. If you didn't provide anything your name is listed. If you didn't give me your full name, your full name isn't listed. I will make no assumptions in hunting down information so it's on you to get me what you want listed in your winning calendar shot, if anything. Most people go with forum screen name, real name, car year and engine and location. But you're welcome to pick and choose from that as you like. This is your last chance to add anything or correct any spelling errors! Send any edits to: Stylusskid@msn.com and be sure to look for reply email so you know I got your edit.
Each of the photos I received were adjusted with my novice Photoshop skills to adjust/enhance for color, contrast, hue, saturation and more. All photos were adjusted equally as I simply let each picture speak for itself and show me what it wanted. If you have an issue with how it came out contact me directly and we can have it fixed. But I think all will enjoy the saturated and contrasted theme that I like to apply to all submissions each year. Once winners are chosen they will be cropped in order to best fit the calendar, if necessary. I wanted to leave all images raw in size for voting. Please remember, I can only do so much, especially when a photo is not of the best quality in the first place. If you think you can do better, I'll talk to you next year.
As we have branched out to Facebook with the calendar heavily once again this year I need to say that NO VOTES ON FB WILL BE COUNTED. All voting shall be done here on the website, in this thread. That means I won't take your emails, texts or messages taped to a pigeon's leg. This is the first time we're using a poll for the voting so bear with us if there are any issues with learning curve as we go. You are able to change your vote(s) at any time prior to the poll closing on November 8th. Other than that, get to voting! I give you the 29 entrants to be considered for the 2021 Beretta.Net Calendar!

J.Acko is correct... If you don't vote in the poll your choices will not be counted.Styluss wrote:This is the first time we're using a poll for the voting so bear with us if there are any issues with learning curve as we go.
