She did it!!!

Went up to Test and Tune at TMP tonight. 56* very little humidity.

Track was sticky as all get out. No spin at all with 17# in the Drag Radials.

Shift light at 6800.

Barbie was right on the ball and came back with a 13.51, 13.49 the THREE 13.47's with a 1.85 60' time. Damn thing is consistent as ever!! (My fat ass ran a 13.62 on the first pass, LOL)

MPH was alittle low I think. Never got faster than 101.90.

Rodney had a go at it last week and changed some things that appear to have worked.

AND IT'S STILL FOR SALE!

This little bugger is running so good right now, I would be hard pressed to let it go.

It costs me nothing, and Barb is having a ball making "Muscle Cars" look silly at the track.

Shallow? YES! But it's a hoot to blow off an LT-1 restored '70 Vette by 10 lengths!

Everything is working so well on this car right now it's a joy to watch it run. Rodney is a guru and after pulling off the defective wideband in favor of a standard O2 sensor and making some tuning changes he is always wanting to do, the car is a puppy to drive. (It doesn't need any more tuning IMHO!)

You would swear this was a factory install it's so docile at idle except for the rumble.

And I LOVE this converter! Car leaves hard and hits the power range almost instantly.

1.85 - 1.9 60' times on every run.

We are going to hit the CSCS Event (http://www.cscs.ca) next weekend and I'm going to give Barb 7000 RPM on the shift light to see what happens.

I can't race it anymore, but I am having a great time again with this car.

I still would like to try one of these converters from your guy... I got my PDQ one back and I'm still not impressed with it. I told him its hitting 4900-5k after a 6500 shift and I would like to see it drop down to 4k or so after the shift... I did a quick pull on Sat after getting it in and it dropped down to like 4750 or something... I'll have to datalog it to be sure but I still don't think its dropping enough and I will still be way to high in the HP range and missing the torque.

The 1.85 60' is quite impressive... I got that before when I got my 12.6, but I think with a better converter setup to reduce some of the wheel spin I think I can pull a better time.

Car was lost to his Wife in a divorce and then sold to someone else. There was a topic on this site of the new owner and how he was going to be doing a bunch of stuff to it, but after he posted a few times he vanished. SO I'm guessing the car is long since gone.
