After driving around for 5 hours yesterday, we have 7 options that may work. The absolute requirements are that there's a covered shelter, and it must be on the beach. I'll be sending you my findings, Chris. There are a bunch of pictures and stuff to write out, so give me some time to get it organized.

Hello,

Here is my $.02. When we had long drivers in the other car community I was involved with planning events like this, we would call them a cruise. Have a nice scenic, twisty road to get there to roll our cars through, and everyone was usually happy. So if you guys are having a 1 hour cruise ending in a nice picnic location, I say that is awesome.

As for me attending BFest, I have been kicking it around. The car is my sons, and I have been encouraging him to join here, but I think he would enjoy the camaraderie of the group, as he has grown up around car shows and events.

Mark

Ok, updates on picnic.

We have locked in the picnic area. So that is now done. Yay!

Bulldog:

We have a plan for a cruise for Friday. That will be planned out pretty soon, once I can make a trip to TC which actually may be this next Sunday or so. There is a lot I will be needing to do down there very soon once it starts to thaw, as I want to provide all I can to make it a good experience for everyone. Everything is coming together pretty well, and more will come soon enough.

Hour drive for food is long. I hope the Free Candy Van is nearby.

Mark, you are mistaken on this...

The cruise with extended driving is on friday, and there is no cruise (or long drive) to the park on saturday.

Chris can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it is only going to be 15-20 min to the park...

Need a little guidance.
I've been on this site many of times. I've never been to berettafest and looking to go this year. I've read posts on the dates, itinerary for the fest, who plans on going, the hotel (name??). is there a registration for the fest? Thanks

The drive to the park should take about 20 minutes. If traffic is bad through town it may be up to 25 minutes.

first register then you will be emailed with all location details. Do not share the location of the hotel to others on the site. As for who is going, message around and see it you can set up a caravan for people around your area
