I thought about getting aftermarket wheels or possibly CNC some custom wheels. I really want to keep the z28 wheels just to stay true to the z28 design ques......along with the hood as well....

You know those z28 wheels look a lot like GTU/Indy wheels - get some caps made up to cover up the lugs and say its a "GTU"?

trimmed all the remaining floorpan sections out along the beretta inner rocker and had to cut out the inner of the rear wheel tubs completely out , but got her down another 10 inches. A lil more trimming on the wiper cowl to clear the brake booster and upper intake and she will be sitting at the proper ride height ....shooting for a inch ish of jounce/wheel to fender gap. ......Im really hoping to not have to loose the wipers while trimming the bottom of the cowl but i will see soon enough....... as is i believe i will have to relocate the wiper motor already ..... about 5 more inches and she will be sitting at the proper ride height. things are lining up fairly well think its really gonna work out

This is going to be so badass....

After going to the Optima Challenge in Charlotte this weekend - you could totally enter there and be a sleeper... haha.

As for the wiper - people remote mount them under the drivers side fender in a First and Second Camaro to clean up the firewall.

Eric Wood just did that in his Camaro he is building....

The problem might not be where to mount the wiper motor but more so making sure the arms that go from the motor to the wipers have enough room to articulate .....gotta just start cutting and seeing what I can get away with :)

Couple questions...

-Are the front wheels gonna be able to fit okay lock to lock in the Beretta fender opening?

-From what i can see, it looks like the wheels will be sticking out about an inch. Were there plans of a slight wide-body modification?

-What are you doing about the blower motor area/motor?

-On the wiper matter, check out the 88-94 J-bodies. The have theirs mid-firewall mounted. Might give ya an option for stock mounting.

I see the camaro from rails appear to line up with the Beretta frame rails...badass! I cant wait to see this beast rollin on its own power!

Wow, what a project! That will be so cool once it's done.
It's not just anybody that would take on a project like that.
Keep up the good work and I hope it goes smoothly for you.

Have not tried to articulate wheels with fender on yet but not expecring any major issues....definitely gonna have some tBerettaf wide body fender flares or lips In both the front and rear .....there will probably be about 2 inch flare to get fenders to sit flush with the rim offset.....and I will definitely check out that jbody wiper set up ...thanks

As for the frame rails the uni body rails of the camaro sat about 48" wide which just fits into the inner rockers of the Beretta which happen to be about 50"
