It is at this time that your Beretta.net Committee and I would like to announce that Geoff Morrow will be taking over for me as Co-Chairman, and will be working closely with Jon Chmura and the rest of the Beretta.net Committee going forward.
Geoff has been an active member of our community since 1999, and is a veteran of every BerettaFest since 2007, regardless of distance. Before that, he also attended BerettaFest in 2001, 2002, and 2005 making him a 13 time BFest attendee! He has owned a total of 8 different Beretta's, and is always on the hunt for more. He has owned his 95 Z26 for 17 years! He submitted proposals for 2 Beretta Fests in Charlotte, NC in 2009 and Pigeon Forge in 2014, and successfully helped guide their planning as a member of the Committee for those years.
Geoff will bring the kind of leadership, dedication, and professionalism that we have come to expect from the Co-Chairman role. We are excited to have him and see what new heights he can help our group achieve! Geoff will be joining the Committee effective immediately, and will assist in the site selection process for 2017. I will stay on board to help transition and also assist with site selection, and will officially step down as soon as a site is selected for 2017.
Congratulations Geoff!!!
