Howdy, just thought I'd throw this topic up for everyone to check out. It's nothing super unusual I guess, but I find it interesting.
We've had some crazy weather here over the last week that has resulted in some major flooding in some areas.
It was actually below zero and we had quite a bit of snow last week, then it hit 60 overnight and started raining. We got about 2.5" here, but some places north of us got up to 6", which has resulted in some crazy floods near the creeks and rivers. It's receding here now, but the town next to us is right on the river, where the water is still rising. Some 1 story buildings are completely submerged, evaucations have been forced, and they're under martial law there. Absolutely unheard of for January in this area, and it's the worst flood on record since 1958 there.
