Well since that i figured out that i had a rod knock i figured i might as well keep you guys posted on everything.

Looks like fun! I vaguely remember having to put a plow on one of those style burbans. Then the trans went and the thing had major rotting going on. Got a whole 200.00 for it at the yard a few years back with no motor.

actually other than the hood the body is pretty much rust free, the truck only has 104000 miles on it and it is a 94' thats why i cant understand why the motor blew unless it was built on a monday or friday

The previous owner may not have maintained it very well either... good maintainence can either make an engine last a very long time while neglect can trash it early.

well the truck sat for 6-8 months but it was very well taken care of thats the thing, the center console is littered with service papers for this truck since the day it rolled off the line so poor maintinence i doubt but anything is possible my other suburban has 325000 on it and it is on the orginal motor. figure that out right.
