Planning to fly in too

Post by weba »

I'm been planning with my g\f Kati that we might come to Bfest again.

I'd love to see the falls and this is the only good change to be honest, one of those once-in-a-lifetime ones i think.

We are booking the summer vacation to 16-29'th of june to make it possible.

Haven't decided anything else yet, but as again, i'd love to see as mutch around as possible and meet a lot of people

Plans plans...

Any thoughts, think we'r crazy?

No you're NOT crazy!

I'll have the Quad all washed up and ready to go when you get here.

STAY AWAY FROM TREES!

Before i can deside where are we going to fly and when, i need to make sure what actions are required from me at the us-canada border, i know visa waiver program allows to enter both countryes without visa, but what paperwork is needed and all, i know for sure i need hand them the return ticket witch makes them happy about knowing that i'm not going to stay

I'm pretty sure a valid passport and your return ticket are likely sufficient. (Finland is not considered all that hostile, LOL)

But I would want to confirm that if I were you.

I can do some checking if you would like me to.

Trying to visit both meetings, the canadian one is cheaper tho since i dont ship my car over pond (like i do when going to Germany) and currency course rocks for me.

all this excitement, maybe if i wins that quad z, i'll get myself on the list to go to bfest, though, i dont have a decent car, i could allways take my dads 01 gagt, could swap out the 3.4l for a 3.1l and charge the person that buys it, that would pay for the gas back, think my dad would know the difference?

LOL, that would be one LONG drive.  It's already like a 22 hour drive going over the ferry.

Seems like we'r flying to\from Chicago O'hare and hook up with the locals there hehe.

Most likely flying in 16th and out 28th (takes whole day to fly counter-clockwise)

Now seeking options to maybe take a train to west after bfest or something.

I did consider flying in to San Fransisco, but it triples the price of the trip so i dont think so...
Booking tickets on couple days after 100% sure on everything.

I did some research on the border crossing, it should be okay for me if i have a return ticket to show and i dont carry drugs etc, they may want to ask some questions from me but it's okay

WooHoo!

Well this certainly does make this a truly International B'Fest!

Let me know if I can be of any assistance.

And if when you register use my '91 GTZ. It will be basically yours for B'Fest.
