Exhaust piping in catalyc converter
ok when removing my old rusty exhaust i was unable to free the rusty bolts on the exhaust clamp right after the catalyc converter. i followed along the edge of where the catalyc actually ends because i was unaware the the tubing went inside on the catalyc. now i have a piece of tubing stuck in the cat preventing me from putting the new tubing on, how do i get this old piece out??

Fun!!!! I remember that experience that lead to my hollowed out cat. If I remember I bent the piece of pipe, that extended inside, in just a little drilled a hole through both side slid something metal through it and eventually it came out....Up and till I did that it was a real fun time cause I think I did everything wrong eventually the catylyst (sorry I cant spell) started flowing out so we just hollowed it out......You should be able to coax it out. Number one tool is Parts Blaster, PB. Then if you work at the piece of pipe it should eventually fall out.

A disc cutter works well too , that's what I used for my last 2 exhaust setups. I used a hacksaw back in the dark ages and it sucked.
