Are you sure that is a turbo?

Isn't it a supercharger?

the 3.8's in the T birds never came with a turbo as far as I can tell.........

I was refering to a turbocoupe, which is a 4 cyl.  Your correct rex, V6's were supercharged.  As far as x-over and downpipe you are going to need to get those done custom.  When you said 3.1 you meant model year 93 and previous correct?

...which means that our friend there got a supercharger from a 3.8L, and doesn't know the difference between a turbo and supercharger. ÂÂÂ

Yes I can tell the diff between a supercharger and a turbo ****, Ill go out and buy a cheap cam ill take pics of the car i got it from and the turbo. maybe the owner of th car put a turbo on it. who knows, but i got it of a green thunderbird that was new to the junkyard i go to.


now for the custom pipes and xover, anyone know some one who can make them?

You guys should really know all of your facts before you start making fun of Gouki.  The T-bird SUPERCOUPE came with a turbocharged 3.8 liter.  They made them for a few years, so there are some in the junkyard. Who's got their foot in their mouth now?

being its off a shadow the compressor may let loose, yeah there might be a bigger aftermarket but for what purpose i dont know ive seen ONE shadow in nice shape and it was on the back of a trailer, all the other ones were on the back of a tow truck.

actually i think the super coupes were supercharged 3.8l's and the turbo coupes had the turbo 2.3l. oh and just to back you a nice turbo coupe will destroy a shadow turbo.
