Just another day at work for me...

I have the weirdest friends. I work for a retail auto parts store as a delivery driver. I have a friend who I used to work with, who now works at one of my customer's shops. Today I delivered a fuel filter to them and poked my head into his bay to see what he was up to. He had a CR-V that came in on trade with a "bad transmission", he found it was just a CV axle disconnected from the tranny. No big deal... except that he found some things left in the glove box of the vehicle by the previous owner, that he showed me, and we had a good time joking about. Then, I dropped of the fuel filter to the office and went to my truck to find that he had left me one of the things he found in my truck in a spot I was sure to find it... Never leaving the truck unlocked again...

Yes, it is kinda messed up, but it not explicit, the thing was new NOT USED, and it's too funny not to share with other car guys.

I don't get it what's with the Americans with their NSFW... At this side of the pond there is no such thing, and at work, we share the best stuff together Sex, nudity and swearing is part of everyday life, and I don't see anything wrong in it. Oh well.

Also, I don't understand why browsing car sites and stuff @ work time is acceptable, but if there happens to be picture of sexy lady, suddenly it's unaccepted? Why? Please someone explain to me.

Welcome to the US... if you look at me cross eyed I'll sue your ass... same thing goes if they see a condom picture on someones PC walking past their work desk they may report that individual for some stupid sexual harassment case and get them fired... People are ridiculous here.

Lots of companies do not and can not block everything, and some don't block anything, and for ones where this site is fine to browse and then some picture of a sexual item pops up that could be considered unacceptable.

Where I work I have lots of stuff blocked during work hours, I have many of that released during break and lunch times, but I still watch and block and sexual content that I see... AFTER approaching the individual... With what we do here it's just too risky for the reason above, and also for virus reasons on our PC's, and honestly its not accepted in our work place or our environment.

I laugh at the thought of having time to look at porn or a car site during work! I'll hit Bnet and and some other sites on lunch break, but I keep too busy to need to burn time at work.

Fords dont need those, no one likes one enough to go that far with it.
