Brian I have to ask one thing did you prime the oil pump before installing it? On mine I had to fill the oil pump up with Vasoline before installing to prime it.

You ready to sell it back yet? I miss it. I think I will have to try and find another. I don't think I will ever be able to find another as clean as this one. I am glad to see it went to a good home and aperciated it as much as I did. Now stop wasting time and get it on the road again.

Thanks Brett. Ill have to try the numbers you gave me, because advance told me they can no longer order them for the 2.3 engines only the newer quads.

Anyone have a part# for 2.3 intake and exhaust carrier gaskets? Or know were to find and order them? Thanks

Kinda new here also from Milton, WI. Picked up a 93 qusar gtz needing a little tlc.

You cant bolt a 2.4 supercharger on your 2.3. You would need to put a 2.4 head on your motor to make it fit. I have a 2.4 lowerend with a 2.3 topend, and cant put it in my gtz because of the CPS(crank postion sensor). A 2.3 has a 15 degree crank, and a 2.4 has a 0 degree crank.
