Oil Pan removal 3100
I have a 3.1L automatic and I just replaced the seal around the pan. To get the pan out, you need to lower the right suspension support rail--not nice. That means you need to raise the front, support the engine from the top, take off the passenger side tire, take off the steering knuckle at the ba...

what else could be wrong
My 3.1L '91 is showing many of the same problems as tlc's (I have a current post on the board about it). I have replaced all the sensors, but not plug wires, coil packs or cleaned EGR. So, I am waiting with some impatience to see if tlc sorts out his issues as mine may be related. tnx.

QUOTEFrom a previous post in Feb: Background '91 Beretta 3.1L; 160Km (approx 80k miles). Car was running very well but started to die intermittently. Had codes: 22+34 from computer: 22=TPS voltage low; 34=MAP voltage low. Don't ask me why, but I changed a bunch of sensors ith new ones: new Crank se...

I cut out the depression on the passenger side along the line of the false stitching. Once out, I covered it in a cool red-black-checked heavy fabric that I bought at Bou Claire and glued it to the cutout. then I put velcro fasteners under it on the top of the plastic under the dash and fastened ...

91 beretta losing power and idleing funny?
Just saw your post GTZ. Cliff told you where the CPS is. I have a 3.1, so the config may be different. To access mine, given that I have no hoist, I jacked the car up, put it on two stands and got under from front. You need a light. look up between the oil pan and the transmission pan. You ca...

I dont know if you have resolved this issue with the car, but I can say that I have had the same issues with my '91 3.1L and they are (God willing) resolved. I fumbled around for several weeks, but in retrospect, I can say that there were two sensors that affected the performance and stalling that ...
