I'm happy it stayed in the community... the last thing I wanted to do was craigslist it and see it destroyed. I'm glad your trip went well and was uneventful.... your a brave man. I'm no...

Re: AC Port Help - 88GT

I figured out. After reading another post.... the car was already converted 10 months ago from R12 to R134 (had the dealer do). I think due to length (common problem in reading old posts) the most common thing it to put a high side fitting in the low side of system. The correct low pressure fitting ...

AC Port Help - 88GT

Ok, Back in Janurary I had the 'ol 88 converted over to R134. Worked great until the other day then started blowing warm... I suspect its low on charge but for the life of my can't find the high side charge port. I have looked EVERYWHERE and can't find it. I see the low side on the accumulator but w...

What is this stuff worth if anything?

Ok, so the decision has been made... at some point in the next year I will be selling the Beretta. I have a large stockpile of parts that I am going to start slowly selling... two parts that I don't know about are some origional Z51 steel wheels. They were taken off the first family beretta in 88 an...

Re: Map Pocket Repair 87-90

I repaired my map pockets using annealed 1100 aluminum formed into channels, binder posts, and then painted to match.
So in non engineer terms.... you used aluminum sheet and what?

I want to copy your repair... can you tell me where you got materials etc. Thanks!!

Re: I need new rubbers... Any suggestions?

I just put goodyear RSA's on to replace the old rotten goodyear RH's. So far they seem fine fairly quiet and they were pretty cheap. I only buy goodyear tires.... I don't like other brands. I think I paid right around 85 a pop and install was a case of beer.... :D I don't need super agressive tires ...

Re: What is this part called?!

Its a cap.... its a Dealer only part. If its still available for your car you'll prob have to buy the whole thing top and bottom as its "hinged"... I don't think my '02 has it but I'll have to look. Best bet might be a junk yard for cheapo....

Re: Walker Quiet-flow SS install

Yeah. And for the most part it works...only in certain circumstances does it flutter. Dynomax recommends one muffler for under 4.0L or dual exhaust, and a different for over 4.0L and single exhaust. I'm thinking the 3.4 with headers and 2.5 pipe may just breathe too well for the "under 4.0&quo...
