Re: 1990 Chevrolet Beretta Indy!!!! Updated with pics.
I checked out the pictures and you've got a great car, a few hundred dollars and you'll have it looking great I'm sure! It's nice to see you taking the time to make things right and tearing out the old carpet. I swapped my grey interior out for a black interior. I purchased the replacement black car...

Re: Beretta Turbo Updates
How do you like your Bosch BOV? I need to find a good BOV for my TGP set up since the factory BOV wasn't meant to wire into the my current wiring harness...

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
Finished the powdercoating on my upper intake and front calipers, I'm in the process of making my own EGR delete plate on my milling machine at my garage (yes I know MRZ makes one, but $42 shipped in 2 weeks vs an hour of my time makes more sense to me), tomorrow I'll be going to the junkyard to get...

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
Yep, I actually went to the yard to get a non-ABS master cylinder before I even checked to see if it would fit, I assumed the ABS master cylinder wouldn't fit, so after I go and pull off and pay for a non-ABS cylinder, I noticed the fittings for my brake lines are smaller than the non-ABS master cyl...

Re: Aftermarked '91 3.1 V6 Motor Mounts
I ordered a top engine mount for my 3.1, my car is also a 93 off of Ebay, I haven't driven my car yet but the quality seems to be pretty decent. I also ordered the poly insert for the top mount from car customs and I also ordered the poly dogbone from MRZ Performance to help everything out. I'd high...

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
Ya, the turbo isn't permanently bolted on, I was just "tacking" it on to make sure everything fit, I still need to clean it. I'm having a very tough time cleaning it, I've checked other forums and they claim to use brake cleaner to clean the carbon off, but that doesn't do much good, so I ...

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
More progress has been made! Engine is bolted, I just need to repowdercoat my upper intake manifold, bolt that back on and I'm in business. I have a few electrical connections to be made as well as cut and install some more coolant hose, but otherwise things are finally shaping up! I'm not sure what...

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
Got some more work done, got the transmission bolted to the block, bolted the brake booster and the new steering rack back on to the body along with other minor parts. The engine gets dropped in officially on Sunday, with my car hopefully road ready by the end of next week! http://i1136.photobucket....

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
Yep I bought the energy suspension bushings for that size, but the bushing doesn't fit inside the OEM bracket and I didn't feel like making a custom bracket hoping it would work or fit between that groove in the subframe, so I decided to stick with the ones that were originally on the car.

Re: My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
Ya, I do have the A/C delete pulley on there, I know the belt is on the wrong way, I just threw it on to see if I have the right one which I don't think I do now sadly. For the Beretta engine mount to work on the TGP motor, you have to use the Beretta alternator mount which changes things a bit, wit...

My 3.1 V6 Turbo Swap/Restoration
I was formally RollingRock213 over on bstuff, I had a thread there about my ongoing engine swap to the 3.1 V6 turbo from a Turbo Grand Prix. I decided to join the beretta.net board to try to still stay active in the community. I my car was originally a red 1993 gtz, however now it's modified, for th...
