Tuning a 89-91 Quad 4 ECM...

Post by Phantom GTZ »

www.tunercat.com

I spent some time with the people at Tunercat and they were able to complete the definition files for the 89-91 LGO Quad 4.

Who needs HP Tuners?

Search for supported cars and scroll all the way to the bottom.

You 2.0 guys may be able to use the cavalier definition if you do an ECM swap....

Now you can buy a chip burner, run the software and tune the car to your liking.  I suggest A TON of research because this puppy will let you edit ANYTHING.

Joel You effin Rock! I have been using Racin17 partial definition file for my 91 tuning in tunerpro... This is soooooo sweet.

92 used a different ECM.  You would need to convert the wiring harnes, AC sensors and use a 91 down ECM.  93 and 94 are different yet and from each other.

I am working with TunerCat right now to get a complete definition file for the AULA chip in my 92 (450 ECM) I have the .bin extracted and ready to go to them. just waiting on instructions on the next step.

I got a ton of quad MEMCAL's laying around from my trips to the yard...

Very nice.  They were not interested 5 years ago.  Too busy with LT1 stuff.
