I'm looking for a pass. side sub frame mount. Must be from a 92-93.

good luck... I couldn't even get a passenger side control arm... I figured asking for the sub frame too would be too much.

Well If this fails I'm going to have to find the part at a junk yard and take it off myself. If you still need that control arm ill grab it. I already bought one from a junk yard but it seems to be to short. I also don't remember what year and car it was on.

Well you aren't going to find a new one, so junk yard is your best bet.

Yes that is the point, but not many of us have a good junkyard, or even a yard you can go into in our area's... I have one thats an hour away. I will probably go there soon to load up on some stuff I've been wanting lately. That is if they have any L-body's or similar.Chad91GTZ wrote:Well you aren't going to find a new one, so junk yard is your best bet.
Thanks for the offer Luckymc420, but I need a 94+ setup with the vertical control arm rear bushing.

I feel really lucky there are so many good scrapyards near me. I had a reply all typed up saying I could get one from the scrapyard for him, but that it would be expensive, but his reply made it sound like he had one available close.
Jon, you should really swap to pre 94 subframes!

Re: 92-93 Pass. side sub frame
I could, I have them in the 95, but I don't feel like using those again. I want to try the 94+ with the full poly setup from a J-body.Chad91GTZ wrote: Jon, you should really swap to pre 94 subframes!
I also wont be using the bushings or the ball joint, so I see buying a loaded brand new control arm somewhat of a waste of money if I can find a unbent, unrusted one. All I want is the steel. And I also need a new front bolt... something that doesn't come with a new arm, but can be had from the yard.

They are usually so greasy they don't rust to bad. Lots of 94+ at my favorite junkyard.

Why would you OPT for more bushing bind and more front to back flex when you have a 93- setup you could use?3X00-Modified wrote:I could, I have them in the 95, but I don't feel like using those again. Edited for wrong year

Barry are you saying the 94+ setup is better? Its always seemed to me that vertical bushing kinda blows, my 89GT always seemed to handle better than the 96 Z26 did, both had a Z51. Maybe there were other factors.
