Good progress tonight, hoping for more tomorrow. Wait until you see this brake system creation. It's serious.

Pics to come

Gutted stock brake booster for its linkage and added a heim joint

A few more shafts, heim joints, and bearings later and TA DA... A awesome brake system that clears the engine hood and clutch master. Much better than the "bent rod" setup the bimmer guys do, everything is linear.

I also cut the p/s pump bracket off the timing cover... Still not enough. Its not possible to use the FWD timing cover.

I also started making a tunnel and finished my under floor trans brace/subframe brace. Its pretty nice. The tunnel is going to be a bitch. I hate sheet metal fab, and I hate scraping .25" rubber crap off the floor to get decent welds.

Also picked up a 8 gallon fuel cell and a walboro inline pump for the trunk.

very creative on the brake booster linkage! could that create issues down the road with the added parts involved? more play

The only point that does not have a bearing is the last pivot right before the booster. It only moves a few degrees and this car only gets driven a handful of times each year. Should be plenty good I hope

No wipers, unfortunately. I kinda want to keep them in case of a rain event. I would love a rain event. Tons of angle and you can go all day on a set of tires.

If I need to I will mount wiper motor on passenger side and link it up

Not like you need more things to keep your hands busy, but you could just go full manual on the wipers. Save the weight. ;)

Also ill be reinforcing the fender rails while im at it maybe the rockers too but i dont want to cut into mint rockers to add steel. Image

And yeah i am rocking a couch in my garage lol. Thinking of also buying my own tubing bender so i can do my own cage if need be or do a tube front end incase of ever impact with someone or something Makes it simpler to repair down then line, If i do and you want me to hook you up lemme know ill do it for cost.

Also disregard that upper strut tower brace it did not pan out was trying to make it work for another member on v6z24 for his 92 and below.
