Springs

Post by jackattack193 »

Looking for a set of FRONT springs , FE7 preferred or even Eibach. I need something to lower my front end a bit. The aftermarket ones I got from the parts store aren’t doing it for me.
I am hoping to get these as soon as possible so I can have them installed before the snow flies.

The Eibachs aren't made anymore and the FE7's aren't any lower, just stock height. What do you have in there now?

I got them from a local part store and I'd have to look up who actually makes them - they were the strut package. They are the set for the GT and "Z" cars vs the base models according to the employee BUT my car looks like it sits almost 2 inches higher.

I know that the springs that were on the car were on there for quite a while, but I pulled pics out from years ago and the car sat lower then as well. So I’d argue that the ride height was due entirely to the age of the springs. These “new” springs have been on for over a year now and every time I look at the car I’m disappointed.

I was even thinking about grabbing a set of true OEM springs from a Z26 at a junk yard but I’ve been looking and there just aren’t any Beretta’s around where I live so I don’t know what to do. Another member was going to help me out but it doesn’t look promising – I was advised that the FE7’s would give me the ride height I was looking for….

This is stupid quirk of mine and it’s an appearance issue for me. Any suggestions?

This is how my car sat with the stock FE3 springs when I bought it with 104k on it.

I think I still have the springs up in my rafters! What year is your car?

I have a set of front Sprint springs I'd be happy to sell you... They lower the car the most at about 2". They're off my 90 gtz and have about 15k miles on them.

Like what?

I've had sprint springs on 2 of my Berettas and they're very good springs... Never had an issue with either set.
