Next time I am home I will take some measurements to see if we can just run a die over these and put a heim on it. That will fix most of your guys problems. Knock on wood, I only broke one end before, the other 2 cables I killed were housing failures. They have a steel wire housing with aluminum crimped ends. The end failed once, and the housing buckled in the middle once. I do shift hard on a daily basis though

So for now im going to use them.I have to move my car quickly from where it's at now.But i did get my cable from the car lastnight.
And i'll be sending them to chris at west coast fireo.
So we can have good cable made with a lifetime warranty=]
I also need 2 hundred to paint my other hood.lol

I'll be sending jeffs cables back because they are ball type ends.
Buying a set from woody to get the car on the road this week.
Three weeks and still nowhere. It will be nice to have cables onces west coast is finished.

Got pulled over for the red signals Wednesday after working late. It was a local cop who just told me to change them back and he said clear was fine. Since the new cop station is right at the end of my street, I'm thinking I should change 'em. Can you still get clear corners somewhere?

Malibu ones... but the last time I tried to get them from e-bay the guy had the listing still up there and then refunded me after I bought them saying he couldnt ship them. Never pulled the listing he had though.

look to be SOL... I searched and only orange shows up anywhere online.

Put the damn things in tonight and I hate them. I knew they'd look too chrome-y. But I don't have a set of good stock ones. I think that's what I'm gonna look for now.

I'm legal though now, that's the big thing. That same cop stopped me again last week and said "Didn't we talk about those red lights?" and gave me the evil eye yesterday.

Got stranded today!

But as soon as I could borrow at 10mm socket I got it back going in about 2 minutes. The retainer clip for the shift cables came loose and I lost all but what I think was 4th gear. I let Tiffany drive it yesterday, so I'm blaming it on her...haha

I double nutted mine after reading about that happening to a few others on the Quad4Forums!

There are no bolts holding it in...it's an M-shaped clip that slides over the recesses in the cables. I think the only thing that holds it down is the console.
