Yeah, might be worth some parts at that price... What year is it? Any idea?

I think I've seen every single Beretta in the classifieds and have come up empty handed in my search...

Every which way I can think to search... I've found a few cars, but nothing that meets my needs. Can anyone recommend any other sites to try? It's probably just what's available at the moment, but I'm confident the perfect car is out there for me... I just need to find it. I keep seeing the 1992 GTZ in NY with the body kit and painted interior and have to keep telling myself that "this is NOT the car for me". It just is too far out there to be worth anything in my book.

maybe a lot of work, but you could easily rip the gfx off and find new gfx, that takes care of the exterior, find new kick panels and door panels for the interior, trim peices, basicly everything but the seats, carpet and headliner and the dash. figure $150 to get all that stuff from some board members, and you have a running driving white 92 beretta gtz, and who the hell knows, perhaps that was yours...

I went back to the ad and looked at it again but that car is just soooooo jacked up I couldn't see spending even $2000 on it. The body kit looks molded on, the plastics inside are either painted or coated in crushed velvet or other horrible material, the list goes on and on... It was probably a nice car at some point, but unless he wanted to cut his price in 1/2 to ~$1500, it wouldn't interest me at all... What a shame.

edit - I may have found something interesting - I found a 92 GTZ listed for sale that has a blown head gasket. There are no pics but hopefully it's still available and is in semi decent shape. I just hope it's better than the last 92 GTZ I found in Western NC!

I have one, it was mostly stored: Bought it 2007 from 2nd owner, only 7000miles driven in the past 5 years.
Stored in every winter since 1995, now 35500miles.

But it still doesnt fit your needs!
- 1991
- dash is not perfect
- its located in central europe....

For the money I could get when I sell it, I rather want to keep it. Who know when prices will go up.
Dont worry, your car is still out there. Just getting harder to find one which is not a project.

Yeah, I emailed him and he's going to try to get me some additional pictures. I'm just not sold on the 3.1/auto combo yet... I liked my old 3.1 GT but it was a 5spd. Who knows.

I did talk to someone with a white 92 GTZ this morning - He's going to get me some pics - Hopefully it turns out to be a good one...

if it dont, heres an idea, take them and combine them, its a project but not a hell of one, afaik they share the same subframes, just swap the wiring harness from both, engine/trans, motor mounts should all be in the same place and plug and play, its not that difficult of a swap in the 92+

I got some pictures of the 3.1 GTZ - It seems pretty nice overall - I also found a donor car that is only usable for engine/trans/ecm swap but who knows.

I'm also in talks with another member here about his '93 GTZ - Hopefully we can come to an agreement on price.

But - until something is concrete, I will continue to look. I've got cash in hand, ready to buy, just need the right car and the right deal...

personally, id do the swap if the 93 is rust free.

Considering it - Although I may have finally come to an agreement on another 93 GTZ (Q4) that sounds like a really nice one. We'll see - fingers crossed!

That's a bit steep for a car with 150,000+ miles on it, newer (35k) engine or not... Yikes.

try talking to him im sure he will come down and ask for pix of the usual areas and its looks quite clean
