I am not well enough to part it. I put a car on eBay before it cost me $80.00 because someone bid on it and vanished and ebay would not refund the fees. I will never eBay another car. It was and still is on craiglist. It is in the local paper but if it's not a civic or a new car no one in south Florida wants it. There are only two Beretta's for sale in the lower half of Florida. Mine and one that looks like a bunch of Illegal aliens used it to float to the US. There is no market for older cars here. If I was well enough to do anything to the car I would save the euros But I passed out last time I tried to get the tails off. (and if you know how to take them off that is saying alot) I do not have ANY money to get it fixed to get it looked at to renew the tag. NOTHING! the money that isn't used buying food for the kids (wife is only one working.) Is used to fix the only running car we have. And that needs brakes right now. I used to be able to do it easy but now I can't. It is so frustrating to not be able to do ANYTHING much less simple car repairs.

There were at least 3 threads on bstuff looking for rust free quads and 5-speeds for projects. I listed it for sale and a bunh of people PM'ed me and asked about it and nothing ever comes of it.

So I am to the point where I can't do anyhting with it so F***K it.

Yes it is a shame that all the uber rare parts will go to waste but none of you can say a word about it unless you are willing to come here and do something about it.

How much are you asking for it?   I tried finding your for sale post but could not find one.  I have enough quad parts here to build a whole new engine.

I am even considering driving down just to pick up the euro stuff and maybe a few other goodies.

I hope ya do more then just talk or think about it car needs a good home and does not desereve the yard, that's the problem with people they look for rust free project cars and then when they show up every excuse in the book shows up.

Mr. Rodney Hubbard!

You were well enough to get those carpet stays out for me; I do believe you can get those taillights out.

If it is that bad, doesn't Paul Taroulli (I think I spelled that right...) live right around by you? He seems like a nice guy, why don't you call him up and see if he's like to give you a hand?

You've got options here... your location just sucks for any of us to buy it.

hey punkboy, if you get this, i'll give you the keys to that quad in the yard so you can hear it run and ****, you could prolly just drop that in if you wanted, i dont know if it has a bad head gasket or not, i didnt do a thorough look, but even if it does, ounce the motor is out of the car, its not that hard to do the head gasket....

1. My illness is not steady. Some day are better than other but the past month or so I have been going downhill. Yes I was able to get the carpet stays off but I was also in the ER later that day.

2. Paul used to live near me but he moved to Orlando about a year ago and is 253 miles away now. And he wants to come to help me but with work, family and being a good 3 1/2 hours away that is not possible now.

3. If any of you cared about saving it you would buy it. None of you know my situation so stop saying how horrible I am for not fixing it if none of you are willing to fix it yourself.

4. I may be able to save some of it but the way my luck has been going probably not. But if this is the kind of attitude you all are going to give me that I no longer want to be a part of "your" board.

you cant blame some of us for not coming for it, you have any clue what it would cost for me to bring that thing back up here to pa? im working a part time job and still in school, i cant afford to just get up and haul my butt down to florida, pick up a car, and bring it back home with the way gas prices are and crap, i also cant afford to have it shipped, hell, i cant even afford to drive down to florida, if i could, i WOULD! trust me, i wanna save this as bad as a lot of others on this board, but i simply cant afford it, and rod, i like your car and always have, sorry to hear about your condition, perhaps if punkboy saves it, i could see this thing in person, along with rex's old z, that would be freakin cool...

you can have a company bring it up for you alot cheaper. how much did you want for it. I might just save this car. i've been known to save a few here and there..
maybe give me a shipping quate to if you can. I'll give you what the scrap yard wants for it.

he wants 500 for it, so you take that, plus at the least 500 to get it home, now you just spent 1k on a car youve not seen in person and it doesnt run.....
