Engine heat increases MAT's temp-value more than what Digital Dash's temp reading when vehicle is not running.
I've always wonder how much value does Computer give the MAT sensor....when compared to Coolant Temp Sensor...my hunch is Coolant Temp Sensor controls the "mother load" of fuel amounts, and MAT value represents a smaller change in fuel amounts. Of course, once computer is in closed loop, the 02 sensor is controlling fuel.
