Sorry bout the damage. Back in the day I had a set of ground lights on the GTU. Firestone put it on the hoist to simply change two tires and they screwed those up for me.
I didnt notice it until after I got home (was curious so I checked) when I went back and asked them about it they were like we didnt know it happened. I suppose shards of broken neon glass and powder didnt indicate anything to them.
Either way I didnt care as they were eventually going to come off anyways but I would have been nice if they would have been honest with me.
