sounds like it has some merit.

maybe ill pick one up in the spring to play with.

you guys do realize your going to have to buy a new filter too. it says something about a filter with a 6" opening.

It should work best with a straight wall TB, like the TCE(or 2.8/3.1). The stock 3100 or 3400 TB will slow the flow with that crazy shape they have. Those two would end up with more pressure and less velocity than the straight wall TB's.

I may get one, but we'll see how the wallet is doing after the in queue upgrades.

I'm not going to bother with the different filter.

I'll only use it at the track.

Nope. But I can.

Was thinking about one of those 60mm LA1 throttle bodies on ebay too.

I "may" be selling my TCE 65mm TB if I decide to buy the 68MM version.

Woody, why bother? LX5 TB is cheap and works..... LQ1 from 96-97 should work too. Looks like the same adapter can be used too possibly.

Please update with some track times when you guys get them on. I'd like to hear about it, hell I'll even take some butt dyno info. Even the smallest change in how the engine acts or runs would be nice to hear about. Do to very very low cash flow this is just another pet project for me. Everything is on the back burner. :(

I'm still thinking about the ebay variant and running it without filter at the strip.

The BPi is the best, I trust the them alot more than something cheaper. Not that a cheap one would fall apart or anything(lol). It wouldn't be much of a change between the two, but why not have the best you can get? I got the info on the lenght from the owner/builder himself. He saw something that could be imporved and did just that. He wanted me to send him a URL to the sites I'm on to answer any questions. I have only sent one for the Ecotec site so far. Bryan is a nice guy and if you have something to ask feel free to contact him at the BPi site.
It looks like I would have to cut my WAI on the Cav because of the need for the reducer(My WAI tube is 2.75in).
