MPB was wondering Quad I bet because the car is stated to have a MANUAL transmission. BUT it's listed as a GT, and the only Beretta's to get Quads were the GTZ and '94 Z26. What the car is going to be is a 3.1L MPFI V-6 / Manual trans 5 speed. That is the 'Trossa (Testarossa) body kit and I can tell you for a FACT the front bumper cover is not on it. It's quite obvious from the side view it's a factory GT bumper in the front.

Andy's Auto Sport (Google it) has several aftermarket body kits for our cars including the Razzi kit which is CLOSE to the 'Trossa kit. I have the Predator kit on my '87 GT-T.

THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL A BERETTA SHARK. The ground effects are factory and they made a very few of them. I think they started with a gtz and made the SHARK with that. It is like the Shelby for the mustang, went to a particular dealer and had the upgrades. It is very rare! This car is worth every cent of 5,000. It will be a valuable car one day. You can probably do more research on it. Thats all I know.

They shurely didnt "start" with the GTZ, the Beretta_GT bagde is still on the doors, and the crosslaces are there too.

Looks really nice though.

As for the price...these cars are getting older and older what do you expect? The price is down already the only way it can go is up! Just wait few years........

There is also a teal 90' Indy on cars.com with only 17k on it for $5950. Don't know if anyone has seen it, it's been listed for quite a while. In the discription it says its a manual 5spd, but it's really an auto, now thats a museum peice. That car is in MN.

On looking again, you all are correct. It looks as though the front kit piece IS present.

As to the "Beretta Shark" THAT is absolute horse crap and a fairy tale. Just like the "Beretta SS". The SS was simply stickered by dealers that way, NO other option just stickers. The Shark was NEVER produced by GM. It was simply part of the original marketing campaign (they called it "So sleek it's like a shark" or some such thing. The ad is on YouTube somewhere) for the Beretta when it was released.

Beretta's ONLY ever came in the following models.

Base
GT
GTZ
GTU
Z26
Indy

And if you want to be TECHNICAL

1 of 1 Feretta
1 of 1 Beretta TT AWD
200 and some odd convertibles that were NEVER sold to the public.

Anything else is horseshit, apple fritters and PURE RUMOR.

Yeah I wasn't thinking very clear. I once met a guy with a 90GT 3.1/5sp when I had my 90GT 3.1/auto. I was thinking Quad or something like the 02 Z24 Cavy that was only up in Canada. Working out in the cold kills my brain. Kind of like eating ice cream too fast(lol).

yeah well mines an 88 and my insurance classed it as classical so guess what i pay more LOL, kinda dumb in a way, if i had a brand new 30,000 dollar car my insurance would be cheaper then my 20 year old car that i paid 500 for.

Tim, you couldn't be more wrong and misinformed! That car is not a "Beretta Shark" (which was just non-factory dealer installed AFTERMARTKET (that anybody with poor taste can buy) crap anyway and doesn't make the "Shark" cars special or RARE!), this car is just a clean 1990 Beretta GT 5 speed with some other glued on aftermarket body kit (not Shark)... I have never seen any dealer added crap used on a GTZ or Z26 model, just on GT's and some base models! It's NOT a Shark, NOT like Shelby, NOT rare, and NOT worth $5,000, it's still just a normal Beretta GT, it's like saying a Honda Civic with a body kit is rare...

Also, Shelby is a performance shop and not dealer installed garbage! http://www.shelbyautos.com

This is what you would call the so called "Shark" (completely different body kit) which anybody could buy and can STILL can buy all that crap on the car too make it look dumb!
