the wiring here.. http://www.beretta.net/forum/viewtopic. ... al+cluster

shows that D6 is not used. on a print out i have it shows D6 as Alternator i didnt put a wire on the cluster here so i can not test that and its all hot glued in there not a chance im going to try and pull it apart to test 1 wire.

Well thinking i might not put this in yet, until i get a proper harness, i can do without a couple things not working but would rather have it all working

Not alot of fun LOL.

ive decided to give up on this project for now until i can find a proper harness and have more time i can pull the dash out, needs to come out and be painted anyways since i didnt have time before putting it in. then i can decide if i really want the digital dash or custom make a analog one with some nicer gauges

pretty positive its 1 from the 89 beretta gt that this cluster came from. i dont know for sure, i had 2 at the time, 1 from a beretta 2.8 L digital cluster. and 1 from a 91 cavy that my engine came out of. the ecm is not stock, the dash harness is.

I know 1 ecm worked my spedo and 1 didnt so im using the 1 that did, both still made it run. i was going through some things the other night and come across another ecm that im thinking was from the cavy, it only has 2 plug in's on it excluding the yellow plug i think, maybe the dash part was different in the cavy.

Are you thinking maybe the Orange wire on my data port is not linked to the correct spot on my ecm, or my ecm doesnt support it ?

Could possibly be a faulty cluster, im pretty sure it worked 100 percent in the gt, the car was junk, i picked it up at the time for the engine harness, and i swaped the seats into mine since the rear folded down and mine didnt same colour interior, stripped a bunch of parts off it and scraped it, i never had intentions of using this cluster and never thought to take the harness, this is going back over 2 years ago now.

Thought it might be cool to use this cluster, change things up a little, seems its going to be alot of work to make it work, and right now its the only car i have to drive, so maybe once it gets warmer out ill take the time and spend a couple days or whatever to wire it up.

Once it gets warmer out im going to hit up the junk yard so who knows what else i might find, maybe a corsica analog from a v6 car so at least my tach will work proper.
