My bad, i used Escort and the Buick as dull examples. This Beretta i have now is actually my first Beretta, and i've jnever even heard of it until i bought it. It does turn heads, it has allot of pick up and can surprise even the faster cars on the street. In fact, my buddy owns a Firebird and we raced on the highway, it was epic because we had other people joining in also haha. All in all, the Beretta is the only car that bothers me when i see other people abusing it because to them "It's just a beretta".

i cant count on all of the times someone has pulled up next to me and says, "what the hell is that thing?" lol

I had a few people comment and say they liked my car, others to ask exactly that "What kind of car is that?" Funny enough, my aunt hates my car. But i figure once i get extra money i'll fix mine up more. Knowing that the Beretta was last in line after the Camaro and other great models, i'm proud to be driving it.

My friend said they're aunt drove a Beretta and it's a grandma car. I'm like how ignorant of you, this is a Z26, go take it for a spin. She did and she ended up liking it and taking her comment back, bwahaha

People SO do not know my car, some can not even open the door. I LOVE it. That is reason enough to drive a Beretta.

Nowadays many many new cars have the door handles where we have it, atleast at the back doors. I still think it was a first on our cars.

One thing i love is when someone wants to roll down the window, they always look on the door, never the console. I'm like "Think: Fire Bird" They're like oh right, then they look at the right place lol.

Amen Chris. When Marks heater core blew up on the way back from the drag strip, some lady walked by our cars at the gas station and said " is that a Z24?"

Ah well. Too bad they can't confuse it with a better car, like the camaro Z28.... That NEVER happens.

What all was there anyway? Z24, Z26, Z28, Z34, Z71... Seem to recall a couple of others, but can't think of them... Maybe a Z51? Wasn't that like some sort of retro looking low sitting pickup truck thing they made for maybe 2 years?

bought mine as a "parts" car and actually fell in love with it. fixed it enough to drive for a bit and now its on the chopping block for its AWD conversion....

OoooOoo keep us updated on that. What drivetrain you using?

O' SNAP! It's about time someone decided to do an AWD conversion! I don't know if it has been done before, I sure never seen it done. You gotta inform all of us on what exactly it is your doin'!
