Yes. I ran my 95Z like that from 06-09 and it was great.

I guess he should have pointed out the above was the same car same ECU same harness, just a different engine.

Yes. Stock 3100 ECM/harness...stock 3100 injectors and stock 3100 fuel pressure too. The engine ran splendid in closed loop, and ran fine in open loop too as long as you didnt get on it hard.

WOT is a form of open loop, so you really mean it ran good cold as long as you didn't get on it hard. I never had these issues but I was running 19lb injectors on my 95 setup vs the 17lb ones.

Yes, WOT it was good...but PE does take feedback from the o2 if you are lean (128+), just not if you are rich. If the ECM is adding fuel during regular driving it will add fuel to PE as well. I never actually logged that combo, but this is what I have read. And cold open loop it got great fuel mileage!
