Installed the bronze pilot bushing, new flywheel, and zoom HP Kevlar clutch, and pressure plate. Also cut the hole for the 6 speed shifter and mocked up the shifter boot.

Looking good - you going to go with a fuel cell tied into where the Beretta gas door is?

I would shave the fuel door and put the fill in the trunk. Keep it nice and clean.

You could cut up the Beretta bumper and put something behind the license plate!

Fuel cell would have to be way too low to get filled from that point...

Modify the filler panels to flip down on a hinge.

Or go the DeLorean route and put a 'gas door flap' into the trunk-lid. That would be pretty cool...

I dunno...there's already a "gas door flap" on the trunk hinges if he goes that route. Why overcomplicate? haha

Seriously -have you even LOOKED at the cars I build?? "Overcomplicated" is where the fun starts! :D

When you are starting from square one, it is easy to over-think and over-extend, then never see the thing finished. Obviously, that is not likely the case here though, so I say design it how you want it ending up -and having to pop the trunk just to top-off the tank is a little more trouble than it needs to be IMO. But, you know what works for you -so do that, because it is working! :good:

yeah...... if/when i get to the point where im worrying about how to fill up the gas i will be in pretty good shape......i would love to shave the filler door to get the clean flush look but im attempting to not have to repaint the exterior of this car.....
