My DSS ones were $800 and I have another $200+ in fixing them.
They said around 400-500 hp before they would start worrying about anything

The axles are in engineering but havent heard anything more than that.
Made a run to the junkyard last Sunday in Cincinnati to get 16 inch winter wheels for the Malibu and the last of the parts we need for the Z.. (FPR, Fuel line and a couple other small things)
Spacers for the rear brakes are also done.

Because of how dead the forum is I don't know why I should keep updating this thread but I will.
Custom axles are currently being heat treated then will be shipped out Wednesday ready to install once I get them. The price of them was cheaper than I was expecting also

The forum isn't "dead" and there is always reason to update this... Posts are near impossible to find on facebook... here it's easy to document and re-find everything.

How did the shifter turn out in the interior? I'd like to see it.

I wasnt talking about this thread being dead.. I was talking about the forum as a whole lol.
The axles were 325 per axle.. that includes the custom axle shaft and putting the outer CVs on and all.. They said I shouldnt have any problems with the axles unless I am making 500hp or more
As for the shifter.. I cant wait to get started on that! That is something I am doing myself as soon as I get the car back home.
I ordered the G6 clutch master and lines through the dealer so between that and the axles we will have everything to get the car done this weekend. If not, we are still putting the axles in and getting as much done as we can so I can bring it home this weekend. I dont want to chance it being up there past when the roads start getting salt on them and having to bring it home in that crap lol

Yeah, the s-word is coming soon. We've had pretty heavy frost the last week or so. I'm sad I gotta put mine up soon. Seems like I just got it back and I've been enjoying it.

Saturday was supposed to be the day to get it done. James' baby came 3 weeks early on Wednesday... so Alex said he would come up to help figure out the clutch stuff..
Well it didnt turn out well.. RCV Performance made the passenger side axle 2 inches too short. Then Tyler told me I didnt have a clip for the FPR to attach it to the fuel rail.. that would have been nice to know ahead of time..
At that point it was decided to make the car a roller so I could get it home.
New plate installed before we took the car off the jackstands.. (Dont mind the dust lol)
After putting the gas tank and the rear brakes on.. now came the time to let it down to normal ride height for the first time with the Shoguns on!
Heres a short video of that (Background music is whatever Tyler had playing, not my music lol)
Then came the time to get it out of Tylers garage to take it home.. and it is BADASS looking..
