AAA picked up from the Beretta from the city pound today. The exterior painted metal area looked fine. The IC was ripped straight out and a set of 3 Dodge wheels and a donut spare were on the car. Two of which were snow tires.
The rear trunk and ignition was punched. Speakers removed and the wiring for radar detector.
The supercharger is gone along with all the tubing. But the dumb a$$es didn't take the most expensive part, which was the programmable ECU.
The exterior is clean aside from a few scratches on the bumpers.
The battery is stone dead. I think when removing the SC the alternator was not charging and only running on battery.
New SC, tubing and WB02 and some rubber I'll be ready to ride.

Damn, that really sucks. Were the GTO wheels still in it? I imagine not if they took the superchager, intercooler, and other goodies out. Do you think it was someone who knew what the car had done to it? Were the police able to get any prints or have any leads? I'm glad the car is still mostly complete. It still torques my *** that someone is so lazy, and thinks so little of someone else's time and hard work to steal their vehicle and strip things out of it. They need shot. The world has no need for people like that.
What about the leaking fluids they had mentioned?

If you see a Neon with your wheels on it, and a blower sticking out, you might want to get out a baseball bat.

I can't believe you seem so calm about this. I would be spitting bullets if it happened to me.

Such a shame what happened... Glad it's back in your hands. Hope you find out who the culprits were and you get your car back in it's old former glory.

About everything that was not stock on the car was removed: wheels inside and out, bike, detector...
No powedery residue from finger print search. I guess it was not a crime againist society.
I don't have to spit bullets as I have one of those handy dispensers.
I took over a quart of oil and half gallon of antifreeze. The plugs still have some old carbon on them, but the plug wires next to the plenum had the loom melted to it. Hmmm.
I have to put some wheels on it and inspect the suspension for damage before driving it.

Too bad to hear about this Norm. I have been following this through this thread and e-mails from Jim Metz.
I would like to be the first to offer you anything you need (stock) to help get your car back on the road.
I have a spare set of black filler panels in excellent condition that have your name all over them. You are considered a member, of the highest standards, and a good friend of mine. Therefore, you will get them free of charge.
I would hope that due to the uniqueness of your car and the longevity of your membership to the Beretta community others might step forward and offer you pieces they may have laying around to help resurrect your car from its recent demise.
They do have an 88 GT out here with maroon interior. If anything else was damaged inside, drop me a line.
Better yet, I would suggest you post the parts you need so that others who would like to help can do so.
Glad to see you got her back in one piece, for the most part.  -Jim

I'd love to get an uncracked '88 filler panel to matched the stock lower one.
That is really the only thing I need besides some time to go over everything. Just send it along with your next shipment to Indenpence and we'll settle when your in town.
Thanks for the support!
