Yeah I was sure it was all about safety, but I did think there was going to be some kind of Mad Max thing with it(lol). Thanks for the info on the Speedhut stuff. It was more of an after thought for me, but still I was thinking about it.

Oh wow I didn't know it had a Quad. Or it has been too long....man I'm clueless. Yes for sure, went back to page one. GTZ.....I had a 90GT and when I think 90 I think 3.1.
And the key Woody is to make an adapter from 6 to 4 runners. 3400's have a better plenum. Get with the program man.

This project has been on standstill for a veeeery long time, now it's time to blow the dust of the car again..
I have so many things to blame, that I'm not going to list them. Just forget everything I've talked about future plans and timetables :D

No porting done to it, just cleaning. The 086 is very good flowing from the start, it really doesn't need to be ported. Not meaning that it would hurt when done right, except rigidity with the material removed. But as i noted, these heads don't need that kinda work.

Here professional port is kinda expensive, so with the Gain Vs Cost be'ing minimal, i decided to skip it for now, the biggest restriction is elsewhere on my system (stock intake and t\b, injectors and fuel pump maxing out)

For some reason they also shaved the head again, even if i told that it was already shaved, Let's hope i am not going to have too much compression with -0.2 and -0.08 shaves %)

This head also has tiny cracks between the valves and spark plug holes in couple of the cylinders, like in most the 086 heads out there, but the head has been pressure and vacuum tested (twice?) and it's good to go.

Cool thanks for the info on the head. I would be thinking about the piston to valve clearance. I did see the number on the bottom in the pic and thought you just wanted to be sure it was flat.
