Not in any hurry....
If I did sell it to you, you would about have to come and get it. At least it runs well, pretty sure it would make a trip back to IA fine.

Upper Peninsula of Michigan, all the bloody way on the eastern most tip of the state. To cross the entire upper half of the state from left to right is probably at minimum a 6 or 7 hour drive up here, shorter if you come via WI by the lake. De Tour Village is the town I'm in. You would want to come across by going over lake michigan and under lake superior. To go to TC would take even longer, as its out of the way to get to me. Takes me 3-4 hours to drive to TC from here I think. Well maybe just 3. Unless you were thinking of getting it during Fest? lol
From me to Bluffs IA is about... 860 miles. Damn, you live almost on the other side of IA! lol You would basically go up, above IL, drive through WI then follow the lake around and into MI upper, all the way east to where I am. Bit of a drive.

Google is sayin to go thru ill and by chicago to get there is faster and its 913 miles lol. Depending on how much the taxes are will depend if i come get it in a month or at bfest. I like drivin long distances im going to get my CDL here soon lol. So you should tell me more about this car all i no is from this spread. If your really interested in selling only lol

Yeah, my Tom Tom was saying the same thing, but to go the other way, its 60 miles shorter, and it takes less than 20 minutes longer, and the view is awesome in comparison. But you could even go both ways, so your trip is more fun.
Once I decide what I'm doing, I will let you know then, give you a run down, etc. Ok?

I thought you just changed the title for the last deer. This is nuts!

Naw, I thought it was completely and utterly sane! lol
Of course its nuts, its practically unbelievable. I have it in the shop this afternoon, started to take a few things apart. Busted the driver's side headlight into two pieces, actually broke the headlight support panel, broke the other bottom mount off of the grill, so that is... eh.
Caved the fender in worse than I thought and tweaked the core support a bit.
Next I have to pull the fender skirt and remove the CAI so I can swap it to a WAI and get the liner off the tire so it doesn't rub, straighten it enough to mount another headlight in it then wait for the adjuster.
I have pics, will have them up in a bit. Just... Frustrated.

Pics of the carnage:
Had to clear out, been doing some painting on stuff for the S10. More on that thread soon too. Going to have to jack up the left side, pull the wheel, pull the liner, remove the intake, pound the fender out, pull the front forward and up a squint, pound the hood back out a bit, to try to at least get it to look more normal. Taking lots of pics for the insurance guy, as I can't wait for the adjuster, I have to be able to drive this thing for now.. LOL

Time to start the killing deer the Beretta way topic. A place where all the deer killers can get together and talk tactics on the art killing.
And again it makes me sick to see it ACE. All that work and you have to start over. You are just too nice of a guy. Bad things happen to good people, time for you to turn to the dark side.

Hey, I bought a black beretta. Can't get much darker than that! lol
I'm just happy that I haven't managed to kill the brand new radiator yet.
And it would be more like D.K.A. Deer Killers Anonymous. Just a support group, we meet once a week, discuss tactics, preventive driving, how it affected our lives. You know the usual. lol

time to start your own junk yard, so you have all your spare parts on hand... or get a hunting license and beat down that deer population in your area! lol
sorry to hear.
have you ever tried those 'deer whistles' that you mount on your bumper? i'm not sure if they are completely bogus or not.

I don't have room for all that here. I already have too many parts as it is now!
This coming weekend I will be going through all that I have here and making a sale thread for stuff. I have things to get rid of and some of it may be wanted, who knows.
Next I have to change the oil, once I get back to the Soo this week so I can pick up more oil and a filter.

I think once it switches over to synthetic the lifter tick should subside. It has been taking longer to quiet down the last couple days.
The thing is, I don't like deer whistles. I put them in the same category as curb feelers. Useless crap that good drivers shouldn't need. I have never needed them before, but I may have to get some and just mount them where they can't be seen and get air through them.

I don't even know what to say except.....Wow.
For the 10 1/2 years I owned that car, I never hit a deer and there are a lot down of them down here. I'm sorry to hear you're having such bad luck with the car. I swear I didn't curse it lol.
For shits and giggles, here is what it once looked like. That fender was one of the best parts of the car paintwise lol.
