I still have to do this with pink car... I had the exhaust done in 08 but its cracked on me recently on the rear exits of the muffler. It's welded back up, but I was thinking of replacing the rest of it.
Your cat may also be too far back to even fire off and work properly... just a FYI... I figure if your gonna have it at least put it up close so it does something and its not just a restriction that doesn't even work.

I thought about that, but it's there to pass the visual check and that's all I care. When I bought the tubing etc. I was planning on doing the crossover similar to the stock location, but the long tube collectors made that impossible...and I was not going to lose ground clearance by dropping it under the trans. So this will do.

Got it on the road a while ago, and have been fixing little gremlins since.
Brand new oil cooler line blew out (leak visible in the 2nd pic actually), so I plugged it...apparently very common because it's a cheap plastic quick connect fitting.
Needed a higher press/flow fuel pump. The stocker couldn't push enough fuel and it leaned out above half throttle. Put an ACDelco EP241 for a 90 IROC that is rated for 50psi in it. From what I've read they flow enough for 300+hp, but still not so much that the stock return line can't handle it. This allowed me to bump the fuel pressure up from 11 to 16psi. If it needs more pressure I can swap the stock spring on my regulator for a heavier one. The TBI unit is so simple and easy to work on!
Got the 4WD working. The tcase switch in the 1-ton BW4401 was bad so the front axle wouldn't engage, and the single wire connector had to be spliced in with the 4WD on circuit since my half ton didn't have the wiring for it. Since I had the solder out I also added a rocker switch in that circuit for the front actuator so now I have 2WD Low. Switched on it works just like factory. Switch it off and shift the tcase to 4LO and Bingo! 2LO...for really creeping if the 6.42 first gear isn't low enough.
Been troubleshooting wipers without any success yet though. Out of nowhere, they're dead. Switch tests fine. Spare switch tests fine. Gets power at the motor connector with a test light. Tried a new circuit board, and a whole new motor from Napa and no dice. That one has me a little stumped.

The stock FPR spring is already down to 14psi in 24 hours, so I just bought a 15-30psi spring to swap in. The old one must just be worn out.

My 95 tahoe didnt work either. had the wrong wiper motor in it when i got it, from what i've seen so far they make like 4 different ones for these trucks. You have to make sure if yours has delay or no delay black or grey connector with without washer pump. you have get the right motor for it to even work.
I also have a brand new switch if you need it mine. wasnt bad lol.

The switch should be different I think cause that's the year of the dash change.
I did take my wiper motor and the new one and they both work on the company truck. My test light shows 12v at the ground connection, so that's what I'm looking in to now.

Did you put 3.73 gearing on it already or did it come with that? Just saying, make sure your front matches the rear for 4WD if you are going to change the axle. You probably already have it and know it, but wondered.

Truck is already 3.73 and the rear will probably go in next spring since I'm gonna have the garage filled up soon.
Cowl hood would be cool. Is it free with a rebate? haha
