12" total in my area... not too shabby... Finally a good reason for the Beretta to be stuck in the garage.

Yeah we only got about 6". It's the dry slippery stuff though. Sun is already melting it away.

We ended up with around 9" when it was all said & done. The good kind for making snowballs. I was hoping for a blizzard, but only got a regular storm. It wasn't very warm out today, but apparently the sun was enough to start melting it this morning.

In North Eastern ohio, I have observed a lot of ice.
They dump salt, it rains, then freezes, then snows, then they dump more salt and plow, then it repeats.
Driving on the ice is alright, I just go slower, everyone else is so impatient that they go faster then wreck.
Some kid in a Cobalt SS went like 90, wiped out, totaled his car, I stopped and made sure he was okay because I saw it happen, and then I proceeded to carefully get the freeway traffic to stop so he can get his car over to the curb as he was blocking the inner lane. He seemed out of it. His airbags deployed, 2/3 of the engine hood were crumpled in, and the front passenger wheel was pushed in half way. Cement divider never moved.
I was in my 1990 INDY with the big decals, car served its purpose. lol
