Meh, would be good riddance. Maybe I'd see less metal spoilers hot glued to rusted out deck lids...

Until I hear from Mike directly, which I am waiting on him to get back to me this week, keep all links to the "new bstuff" off the board.
Mike owns the rights to the name, and if he chose to go that route, could sue over it.

I kinda think these 2 sites should be merged anyway, our community is too small for 2-3 separate forums..

That's what Will has been attempting to do for a long time now. But there are also many members on Bstuff who found this board to be too harsh and that's why they want to keep it separate. Its like a political battle... There will never be a common ground because someone will always disagree or get offended by something.weba wrote:I kinda think these 2 sites should be merged anyway, our community is too small for 2-3 separate forums..

I think i'm going to be sticking right here. No need going off to a site that works when it wants to.

Re: Bstuff looks to be broken again...
The only time that I will push being active on Bnet is when someone starts a complaint about not knowing about Bfest, or the proposals or the voting procedure. If you wish to attend the event held by this board I think its somewhat of an obvious fact that you should be active on here to see how the planning is going and how to be part of it.
Re: Bstuff looks to be broken again...
I always prefered the more mature strive for accurate information on bnet. And over the last 6 years, chose to read more than post. Now I sit at a desk all day rather than stand at a mill or lathe, so im on here now a lot. I came back to the two sites because I missed the community, even tho there were a few who seemed "harsh" or rude or were just plain dicks on the internet. I posted more of bstuff because there seemed to be more activity, but deep down I always knew q v q etc etc.
I dont think there is room for 2 or 3 beretta communities anymore and If yall can put up with me i would prefer to stay here. Ive missed every Bfest since joining the community, (I had NO idea there were other people who loved my rust bucket as much as I) but I am looking foreward to meeting you all, as Ive said before. I know stupid questions get old, and without Bstuff, that is something that will come to this board, but if this group wants to continue to survive on into the 2020s we need to be a closer group as a whole, not just a "clique of assholes" Forgot who said that quote.
The passion for the car brings us together, so wtf is keeping people apart? I guess the internetz really r srs bznz.
I would like to point out how much better the Beretta community is than the J body one as far as idiots, b.s.'rs and downright assholes go. So as long as we never hit that low im good.

Re: Bstuff looks to be broken again...
I too think it would make most sense to have everybody on one forum. I have been working as much as possible to get towards getting the 94 done so i can attend a event to meet some of you. I got a new job at a factory been working 12 hour shifts last two weeks. Other than Asylum taking what i said the wrong way by accident, everything here is good and i will start posting more on my days off. I would like to keep my car as long as possible and be a member of the Beretta community as long as possible, hopefully everything works out between the two sites.

Re: Bstuff looks to be broken again...
This discussion comes up every time Bstuff goes down for more than a day. And as soon as it's back up, it gets dropped.
I don't really ever see the two sites merging. To me it's not so much different ways of doing things and such as it is some people really rub some others wrong between the two communities.
I don't see the certain "cliques" ever breaking their ties to be one with the community , so in that regard, I really doubt that the two sites will ever mesh properly. I think what will happen if Bstuff is down for the count is a good many members will just fall off of the map rather than worry about coming under constant fire over here.
They will still love their cars, and likely keep them, but imho will just disappear off the radar.

It has been down to long to come back. It is my personal opinion that it is gone forever and we should stay here.
