If you're planning on all that too, try doing a 3x00 hybrid on it. As far as the chip, it will be essential to getting all of your new stuff to work correctly. Without it, you'll be limiting most of your gained power.

You can rent a truck for a day from home depot for like 20 bucks an hour.

Go to harrys and pull a 3400 (or a 3500 there the same price). Bring the motor to the front of the yard, go get your home depot truck, take motor home, drop truck off, put motor in beretta

Most pull it yards will not sell you a motor if they plan on giving you a warranty if they do not know or tell you the mileage...

Thats where my engine came from. Both the 3500 and the 3400... they only had 4k on them when I got them.

Also, have fun finding a SC to put on the 3400... the only ones that fit are centrifugal SC's and they are not cheap, unless you pull a McGavin and bolt a M90 to the upper plenum, but that never proved to be successful, let alone pratical either.

Yeah a centrifugal supercharger... they run about $1,800 new for a universal one... and thats JUST the SC... there is no kit out there to make it fit so thats your job... :)

Trust me I've been wanting to do a SC for a long time but it's SO damn expensive I just can't come to spend that much money.

i want a S/c cuz i love the whine they have and how offten do u see or hear a beretta w/ the s/c whine?

i can do it i just have to manage my cash better so i can get the s/c unit then piece together the whole IC pipping and stuff

i have a idea of how id set it . it be pretty much like how they put the turbo on the TGP's , i dont have a/c anymore so i have the space for a IC up front, plan on gettin dual slim fans so the headers clear better and a bunch of other crap.

Yeah I had a chance at one for $2800 but there was no way I could have paid that right then...

I'll just have to go full custom some year ;)
