WTB: 91 V6 5 spd wiring harness
Re: WTB: 91 V6 5 spd wiring harness
ive found a million v6 5 speed cavi's but not berettas.
it really wouldnt be hard to make one from an auto. you just need a wiring diagram from each car and make the auto a manual.

Re: WTB: 91 V6 5 spd wiring harness
can you snap a pic of the beretta connectors on the dash?
Re: WTB: 91 V6 5 spd wiring harness
the cavy wire harness is the same, will plug right into your existing harness inside the car.
The only thing you have to worry about if its a auto then you have to re wire the safety park switch, wire reverse lights and hot wire the safety neutral unless you want to wire it into the clutch pedal switch.
i have a wire diagram somewhere for this.

Re: WTB: 91 V6 5 spd wiring harness
hey.. i found my old wire harness tonight digging through some things, i thought it was long gone since i moved last year i havent been able to find it.
Its off a 89 gt 2.8 L Automatic. i used it on my 88 with the 3.1 5 speed until i found a 5 speed harness.
The reverse lights and safety neutral are already wired on it, only thing is there is no switch on your clutch pedal unless you figure out how to wire that in.
I noticed there is 1 wire off for one of the relays and maybe 1 relay is missing other then that its all there, it was running on my car when i removed it and worked for 3 years for me.
Pm me if your interested.

what is your car ??? this fits 87-91, it was on my 88 came off a 89 gt. exact same thing on a 91 base. this exact harness was on my 88 converted 3.1 5 speed and ran. it was in the car for 2 years and drove for 6 months on the road, and i come across a 5 speed harness and wanted it only reason i swapped it out.
The wires go through the firewall, the plugs are on the inside to the ecm.. plug and play
THIS is from a Beretta.. an 89 GT 2.8 L V6 but was automatic.. the only difference is the reverse light switch so when the 5 speed is in reverse the wires need to be hooked to the switch on the trans and im pretty sure this harness is already WIRED to work on a 5 speed. and the safety neutral switch. it was on my 88 3.1 5 speed and everything worked it drove and ran and passed pollution test and drove for 30,000 miles with it.
Only 1 problem i ever had with the swap was the fan would not come on with the relay. i think it was something to do with the temp sensor in the engine, if i grounded the relay the fan ran all the time and thats how i run it because i could never figure out why it wouldnt come on and off automatically.
