That's also true. When you've got to similar shades like that, it's best to outline the text. In this case a white outline would work better and vastly improve legibility.

any specific parameters for this project? i did some freelance work for a few years after college. its been almost 5 years since i have put anything out though. i dont have PS anymore but i could try gimp and see what i could up with. do it cheap in black/white, pass out the design here and we could print them our selves on the business card template paper from wallyworld?

keep it cheap but quality

edit:this design could work?

The problem I have with printing them at home is the fact they look like they were printed from home. If someone put something that un professional looking on my car I would throw it out without even looking at it. We NEED a theme we all agree on then have them professionally printed so we don't look like a crackerjack operation. That way we will bring in more members and more quality members who are serious about the Beretta.

As long as we can agree on a theme I have no problem getting cards printed for my own use if there isn't a plan in place to have them centrally printed and distributed in a way that will support the site.

I saw a commercial today, but I am sure there are plenty of places that make the cards, so let's figure it all out.

Vistaprint will do 100 cards free. I paid $20 to them to get print 1000 cards last time I ordered cards for my other site.

That's what I'm saying. I'd totally chip in $20 to get the ball rolling on 1000 cards from a solid printer. Then we could just send a couple bucks to whomever for shipping to get 50 of them mailed to us.

Full color on good card stock is the only way to do it right. There are enough cheap places out there to do the job reasonably. I'll chip in toward a good quality card.

I have the Beretta.Net logo at the top left of the board in AI form if we want to use it along with a good group shot. I really like the idea of a group shot. It just has to be interesting enough to get them to the site...no need to overdo it.

Is there way way to set it up like the Calendars? Post them up for sale on a website and the proceeds going to the site.

I know of a cayenne Z here in town and a older 88-89 GT that the owner swapped a white GTZ kit onto. These cards could be good!
