Re: Project B
Did some welding two days ago and did a primer on the engine bay yesterday. Today I put a coat of base on it.

Re: Project B
I hope that PRE didn't make the paint bubble up. It's more for bare metal. How did it all come out? The photos are kind of dark.

Re: Project B
The Primer looks good. I got to wait to see the base. I will prolly just put a clear on after this. I didnt see any bubbles in the primer so that must be good.

Here is a link for the paint:

But I bought extreme chassis black gloss.

Re: Project B
I have some of that stuff myself. Well, I have the older stuff and it's not as good as what you have. Everytime I order something from them they come out with something new and better.

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII Muncie 5-Speed
I have done nothing to this project since the paint. I live in Iowa and we have had a lot of weather problems. Like now Blizzard warning. AGAIN! I do have a pass side sub frame coming. Im looking into the 5 speed Shift cable topic and doing a lot of part look ups. I really don't have a lot of money so I am trying to get two more jobs through the week. Nothing major babysit and a computer job while at home. Not to mention my crazy ass sleep sched. I am also working on a car trailer my brother in law bought that was in bad shape. That's takin up all the space.

Re: Project B - 1991 3400 OBII Muncie 5-Speed
I see that trans mount failing in short order... LOL that thin metal will bend all to hell I bet. Better poly fill it or get the billet mount. I'm not sure if the dude selling them is out or not now.
