There are no different end mounts for the Beretta, only one style ever offered. He is just using representative images on his site like almost everyone does on Ebay, If you look, he has a disclaimer saying so. Linky: http://mrzperformance.vstore.ca/product ... ucts_id/36 Below the pic it says: *These pictures are Strut Braces for other applications only to show the engraving of our emblem on the foot*

There's your answer, could have spared yourself sending the email...

He has known about these issues with the V6's for a long time, and he has yet to address the issues and make a new design. So, it is what it is...

I swear that just above the first image as the Cobalt and 95+ N-body page says there was a line that said this "Here is the actual design of the Strut Brace:" Followed by this photo Image

If I'm wrong on the website then I'm wrong but I still believe that the bar would fit better if it looked like the above, I don't think that can be argued much since the stock bar follows that shape and fits fine.

His disclaimer is also right after that first image followed by the described foot engraving, and not at the top, so it's easy to confuse or assume that first image is an actual photo of the design.

And yes he knows about it and offers a fix for it at the same time, I agree a new design should be made but to consolidate sales he may not do that, but he should have the buyer specify its for a V6 Beretta and Modify the thing before it goes out the door, but thats his choice.

Anyone know where I can find a fairly close to me late model 3400? As long as it isn't blown up, don't really care how many miles it has, going to go through it anyway. lol

Thinking its time. But will I have the time? That's the 100 dollar question.

Oh, and Jon, if you have any spare good 4T60e tranny parts for a stock build, let me know. Probably going to do that while I have it out. I know that the packs for second are probably shot, and who knows what else, probably has valve body wear too. Figure I would at least put in new packs, but thought I would see what else, may have to call you and talk to you about it, whenever this happens.

Nope, and you can clearly see he used the same pics for every model listed but 1. If that isn't a big enough clue, then the additional disclaimer seals the deal. That's what I got out of it after a quick glace anyway. It would be nice if expensive items like this actually fit (all year beretta models as stated). Eh, oh well.

I could care less how they described it. I got all that much figured out when I looked at the site myself after the fact. My questions were answered, and despite the fact that I really like the look of the brace, I think it will do someone else better. I already have it pending to be sold. As I said, just going to build my own. Shouldn't be that hard, and will probably be more solid then anything I would buy. :D

Eh, I will get there eventually.

Right now it seems I have a water pump that's going to die soon. I been hearing this chattery/squeaky noise, and it seems to be coming from the water pump. At least those are easy to change, and this will be the first time the pump has ever been replaced on this engine.

Just don't want it to lock up and seize like Brett's did back in 09... We were changing his pump in the hotel parking lot, in a drizzle. LOL

I was going to say just replace it, they are so cheap, even for a brand new one.

Oh, I plan to. Picking one up today, probably won't get to install it till the weekend, unless it locks up before then. Will have my tools with me, just in case. lol

Brand new one from Advance Auto with my firefighter discount, just over 19 bucks. lol

Now if it will just last till I get back to the garage this Friday night. And I'm happy, 165 miles on this tank of gas, and I'm just under the full peg. Should hit 250 miles by the 3/4 mark. LOL

Did you hammer out the piece that holds the radiator on top? Or replace it?

Reason I ask is I had the same issue.

Not sure how that relates to the water pump? Are you talking from back when I hit the deer? That has been replaced, but that was over 3 years ago now.
