Yup. New style black interior was a one-year-only thing in '91. All the panels in my car are factory 91 black except the dash, which came out of my maroon interior 95Z. I dyed the interior black in that car 5ish years ago with DupliColor vinyl dye. I have since gotten smarter and used SEM dye for anything I need. The DupliColor is ok for something low-traffic like the dash, but anything you touch regularly like the console arm rest and door panels you really need SEM dye.
Here are some old pictures of the interior project in the '95:

SEM FTW! My mirrors are painted with SEM Trim paint. Its the semi gloss rather that uber shiny.

I don't like how people call it a dye. Its a spray paint, and its just a good adhesion property. I really doubt it actually dye's the vinyl.

It's actually a flexible paint more than a dye as it really doesn't penetrate the surface.
But the SEM is the stuff to use.
So which would you rather do. Pull the dash or pull the windshield? LOL!

I half-assed it with the 95 and all it left was a tiny bit of red at the very front of the windshield that was barely noticeable. No one ever noticed it at any meets. But when I pulled the dash out to swap it in my 95 I scuffed the whole thing and did it right.

Red up front? Isn't that illegal?

Yeah. But I've had red side markers for about 5 years.

Red side markers are a bit different than red front blinkers.
