They are powder-coaded black... I think I'll keep them that way.
also my paint scheme for the engine is black grey, I don't like body matched engine parts.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
I'd do that if it weren't such a pain in the ass to paint the parts after the fact... Right now to be honest its the easiest time to fix it if it wont look right.13's or bust wrote:i say leave it, maybe woody can photoshop the picture with your motor in it, but with the black paint on the towers and firewall???
imo id leave it how it is and drop in the motor.
The only issue with painting them now is they will not be smooth... its going to be a rippled finish due to the undercoating below it.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Just think of it this way Jon, alot of older cars all had black engine bays no matter what the color of the car was. I think it adds to the over all performance look of the car I say leave it black

Besides, Pink is no ordinary beretta. Who said the bay has to look ordinary? LOL
Stand out and let it be your own. Do what you want Jon, it hasn't let you down yet.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
started putting some stuff back in... I'm starting to think the black will work just fine. there is enough aluminum/gray around to break it up.

Black engine bays are hot =).
I sure wish my engine was out right now, it would make dealing with my rear header a heck of a lot easier. I have to pull that SOB soon so it can be re-welded.

Re: 1996 Mr.Pink
Just got my brandy new EP LSD yesterday. I will say I was greatly surprised at how much has changed since the last time I got a unit from him. He made some changes to the center plates and I think that will improve the loading area and possibly help make it last longer/work better.
I'll get some pics up tonight.
